My Happy Place

The beach has always been a special place, a place to rejuvenate and refresh. It is a melting away of all the stresses and ensuring a new outlook for the next foreseeable future.

This layout was created for a Mystical Scrapbook’s Cybercrop where the focus was stencilling and leaves.

I used some heat embossing and leaf stencil to add the requested element. I utilised some fussy cut flowers from stash of previously cut flowers - Uniquely creative strip of leaves for the bottom and Crafter’s Choice papers for the rest.

Layering the flowers I added some die cut leaves if different greens.

I then added wooden veneer lettering for the title.

Some faux stitching and it all came together.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and look.

Colour Run

Hello fellow crafters.
This is a fun layout I created of a recent colour fun run I had the pleasure to be part of at my workplace. The parents at school thought I would be the best to dress up for the event and they supplied my costume. Of course they had it correct.

I was given a Cricut Maker 3 for my birthday and this was my first layout using the die cutting ability of the machine.

I added Tim Holtz distress stains to create the paint run background.

Adding a little ephemera and some sequins, this colourful layout came together.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

Best Mates

Hello fellow crafters, today I created a layout that is number 5 in a series of 5. I had to use a sketch for all 5 and add some buttons, some washi, some enamels dots and loads of layering.
The papers reflect the colours of the photo and compliment each other, to create this fun layout.

This is a layout I made of my boys. They really are best mates. Using some old Stamping Up papers, I utilised some die cuts, some buttons, some washi and ink to create this simple and clean layout.

Layering the dies on the fussy cut circles added effective dimension.

Using foam pop tape allowed for depth of the photo and the overhanging Kaisercraft stickers.

Clustering of elements allows for interest and a tying in of theme and ideas. In this layout it is about how cool these boys think they are and the tag reflects their look and personalities.
